Of course, this would happen to the Philadelphia 76ers. They’re already saddled with an 0-17 record and now they can’t even start a game right.
So the Sixers and the Minnesota Timberwolves tipped off and played the first 16 seconds of the game. Then after Henry Sims got fouled, the officials realized that the teams were going the wrong way on the court. So the refs scrapped those 16 seconds and restarted the contest. That was bizarre.

Maybe the Sixers can get good juju off of this and actually win their first game of the season!
