Recently, GQ magazine did an interview with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and one of the subjects brought up was classically terrible movie, “Kazaam”.
One of the questions that interviewer Mark Anthony Green asked was why Shaq decided to do the flick and he revealed that it was for the cash:
GQ: Did it hold up to you?
Shaq: I was a medium-level juvenile delinquent from Newark who always dreamed about doing a movie. Someone said, “Hey, here’s $7 million, come in and do this genie movie.” What am I going to say, no? So I did it.
If you give one million dollars today, I’ll make Kazaam 2, 3, and 4.
