Earlier in the year, Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadive floated the idea of possibly playing a 4-on-5 during games to get easy baskets.
During tonight’s Nets-Kings game in Brooklyn, we might have seen the first version of the Kings 4-on-5. After a stoppage of play, Sacramento’s Reggie Evans appeared to go to the bench as DeMarcus Cousins was set to check in the second quarter.
After the Nets missed a shot, Evans came back on the floor and had an opportunity for a slam dunk that he ultimately missed:
While it is tough to tell if it was a 4-on-5, it wasn’t successful.
