I actually never knew that Gerald Green was missing half a digit on his right hand. That makes it pretty amazing when you consider what he does on the basketball court. Green used to hide his hand but is now using that handicap into a powerful anti-bullying message.
Our good friend, Greg Esposito had an idea that is now apparently being made into reality.
The Phoeni Suns will now be selling Gerald Green four-fingered foam hands:

This makes me want to root for Green more. We take for granted what we have. Imagine missing a part of your body, even if it’s half a finger? Some regular tasks become a bit more difficult (sometimes, WAY more difficult) than they normally are. So I applaud Green for playing professional basketball with just four-and-a-half fingers on his shooting hand.
Great idea for merchandise, Suns.
