As previously noted on That NBA Lottery Pick, New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson decided to give his team a curfew before Saturday’s afternoon game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
After the Knicks were beaten by the Grizzlies, it appears that New York Knicks forward Metta World Peace didn’t exactly hear about Woodson’s curfew rule.
We find out more from the New York Times writer Michael Powell:
“How was the curfew?” I asked Metta World Peace. Wrapped in a towel before the game, he cocked his eyebrow. “I didn’t know we had a curfew.”
Ten p.m., I said.
He turned and pulled a bottle out of his locker. “Kombucha, the wonder drink, man. It’s great,” he said. “They say it has natural alcohol. For real, man.”
To be fair, Komabucha juice is a pretty good drink.
