There are very few people to ever grace the game of professional basketball like Earvin “Magic” Johnson and while there might be arguments that there were better players than him but they’re might not have been a better leader.
Recently, Magic was in Michigan speaking at an event on behalf of the Saginaw Promise (a scholarship program helping underprivileged youth attend college) and decided to repeat those sentiments.
During his appearance, an individual attending the event asked him who would win in a game of one-on-one between himself and Michael Jordan:
“Michael would win. That’s not my game. My game is assisting, setting up my teammates. Michael’s the greatest one-on-one player. I couldn’t go out and drop 60 like him, but he couldn’t run a team like I could.”
