Unless you happen to be part of the Louisville Zoo organization, I’m going to take a guess that you didn’t know that one of their newest animal additions was named, “LeBron James”.
The Zoo’s new jaguar got his name from the famous Miami Heat hoopster thanks to the location of where he was born:
LeBron the jaguar is four years old and came to Louisville from the Brevard Zoo in Florida as part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ national breeding program. He was born at the Akron Zoo in Ohio, which is also the birthplace of LeBron James.
Jaguars can grow to six feet in length and weigh between 120 to 200 pounds.
Hopefully, LeBron the Jaguar will meet his namesake eventually…
