There always seems to be two different types of NBA players: there are the ones who love to celebrate and the people who think that it’s no big deal.
Recently, Boston Celtics forward Jeff Green took his aim at Indiana Pacers Lance Stephenson after his dancing celebrations during a recent loss after crossed up Celtics guard Courtney Lee.
Here are the full details from MassLive.com:
“Of course,” Green replied when asked if that (Stephenson’s celebrations) upset him. “That’s not basketball. He made great plays, but at the end of the day, make a great play and get back at the other end. But it is what it is. We’ll see them again.”
Now for a rebuttal, here is Lance Stephenson:
“It just came with the flow of the game,” Stephenson said. “I was trying to entertain the crowd. I was so much into the game, it just came out naturally. I didn’t mean to do it, it just came with the flow of the game.”
He added: “If it comes out in the flow of the game, it happens. I don’t go into the game saying, ‘When I make this shot I’m going to do this dance.’ It just comes out. I’m surprised when it happens. When I make a shot, sometimes I’m surprised. I’m like, ‘Wow.’ So I’m like congratulating myself.”
