With James Harden enjoying his overseas vacation in Asia, he made some interesting comments during a trip to the Philippines to teach the game of basketball to young kids.
In an interview with the Philippines Star, Harden was asked his thoughts about the movement of Jeremy Lin to the Lakers and Chandler Parsons to the Mavericks and provided an interesting response:
As for the Rockets’ future, Harden said he’s not worried that Jeremy Lin has left for the Los Angeles Lakers and Chandler Parsons for the Dallas Mavericks. “Dwight (Howard) and I are the cornerstones of the Rockets,” said Harden. “The rest of the guys are role players or pieces that complete our team. We’ve lost some pieces and added some pieces. I think we’ll be fine next season.”
We will see if the two cornerstones can lead the Rockets to the title this season.
