One of the fun NBA questions to ponder is what would Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan do in today’s NBA?
Recently, former teammate Horace Grant spoke with the Chicago Tribune and said that Michael would dominate today’s NBA and score an incredible average of 45 points per game:
Asked if the Miami Heat could compete with his Bulls’ teams, Grant smiled. ‘We would’ve kicked their (butts),’ he said. Then Grant added a caveat. ‘No, you can’t compare (eras),’ he said. ‘The rules have changed so much from our days and the Heat’s days. It was more physical back then. Today you can run around without getting touched. Today, Michael Jordan would average about 45 points.’
While I’m inclined to agree with Mr. Grant, I’m going to assume that MJ would be going for Wilt’s record of 50+ points per game due to his competitive streak.
