Once in a while, the veterans past their primes dig deep down to summon one of those extraordinary performances that used to be routine for them. On Wednesday night, Dwyane Wade did just that.
Wade scored 42 points against the Utah Jazz. Check out the array of the moves he did last night:
He was hitting from everywhere, going 12 for 19 from the field (as well as a 2006 Finals-reminding 16 for 21 from the line). The Heat were plastered by the Jazz at home, 105-87, but the American Airlines Arena crowd appreciated the vintage Wade game and gave him a standing ovation after the contest.
Cheers to one of the greatest of all-time.
