It is no surprise that Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard isn’t the greatest free throw shooter (career lifetime free throw percentage is 57.7%) but I would expect that D-12 could beat a sports columnist’s daughter.
The below clip shows Kelly Nielson (who is the daughter of Los Angeles Times columnist T.J. Simers) facing off against Dwight in a ten-shot contest to determine the winner.
Howard decided to give himself a distinct disadvantage by only shooting left-handed and while it appeared that he would pull out the victory, Kelly took home the free throw shooting crown:
As part of the loss, D-12 donated $5,000 dollars to a charity of Kelly’s choice.
