I still haven’t fully recovered from the strange (and wholly awesome) psychosis that I was inflicted with upon viewing Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh travel through wormholes whilst defeating evil and saving the multiverse at the dutiful request of a wolfman spirit guide…. With that as a disclaimer, allow me to introduce the somewhat controversial mindbender-of-a-viewing-experience known as “The Adventures of Christopher Bosh in the Multiverse”.
An animated short created by Miami art collective Bleeding Palm for the Borscht Film Festival, this 11-something minute cinematic rollercoaster portrays a valiant protagonist in Chris Bosh as he battles an evil sorceress and teleports through space portals alongside such random popular culture icons as the infamous Miami face eater, Wes Borland (of Limp Bizkit fame), Hennessy Youngman, and Mike “Skinny” Miller (’cause why not?).
If you’re confused by said description, then that’s completely understandable. As a matter of fact, if you aren’t just a little bit bamboozled––then you really ought to be. I say this because the following film is mind-jumbling, hilarious, and occasionally downright terrifying. Enjoy!
