We’ve seen some pretty wacky ending to NBA games but the finish of the first overtime of the New York Knicks/Milwaukee Bucks game might be an all-timer.
The Knicks held a two-point lead in overtime with less than thirty seconds to play. After Carmelo Anthony took a jump shot that missed, Knicks center Tyson Chandler corraled the rebound and ended passing it out to Andrea Bargnani.
Instead of holding the ball up by two with less than twenty second to play, Bargnani decided to unleash an open three-point attempt that missed and got the Bucks the ball back.
As you might figure, Bucks broadcasters Jim Paschke and Jon McGlockin were confused by Andrea’s shot:
