Most of the time, NBA players like their nicknames but sadly for Golden State Warriors forward Andre Igoudala wasn’t exactly a fan of his.
During a Wednesday press conference at the Warriors facility, Igoudala told the media that he didn’t exactly like be called “Iggy”:
“Yeah, I never liked that,” he said. “Since I was a kid I’ve been called that. My teammates can call me that…They kind of know me, they can get away with it. But other than that, I’m not a big fan.”
In the same press conference, one reporter asked about the Warriors win total for the upcoming season and Andre had an interesting answer to that:
When asked by a reporter whether 50 wins was a realistic goal for the Warriors, he didn’t hesitate with his response. “I would say more than that.”
