For the NBA fan, there is nothing better than winning free tickets to see their favorite NBA team in action but a blunder by one NBA team left fans thinking they had won free tickets to only have them be informed it was a mistake.
Last week, the Utah Jazz had a technology snafu happen when their Utah Jazz application for mobile devices accidentally sent out a notification to fans that they had won free tickets to see the Jazz play the Dallas Mavericks last Thursday.
Below is the Jazz's statement from their website apologizing for the mistake made along with offering compensation in the form of entry into the next free ticket contest and complimentary tickets for the Salt Lake Bees minor league baseball team:
