Barack Obama On NBA Agreement To End Lockout, "Good Deal!"

Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we mentioned that USA president Barack Obama was "heartbroken" over the NBA lockout.

Well, once the news came out that the season might be saved, Mr. Obama was clearly pleased to hear it:
After playing basketball at Fort McNair on Saturday, President Barack Obama seemed to approve the tentative deal reached earlier in the day to end the NBA lockout.

When asked about the potential agreement, Obama gave a thumbs-up and said, "Good deal!"

To note, the start of the NBA season will not interfere with the upcoming, "First Ever Obama Classic" on December 12th, a fundraising basketball game that will feature high-profile NBA stars including Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, and NBA legends such as Magic Johnson.

Kris Humphries Likes To Fart On Girls...I Guess

As the Kris Humphires/Kim Kardashian marriage quickly dissolved in the past couple months, a story in regards to Kris Humphries love of farting has surfaced from a possible lawsuit that Kris might file against Kim.

Allegedly during the new season of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York", Kris decides to let one rip in the face of Kourtney Kardashian:
Humphries' wholesome image could be tarnished by the show. According to insiders, Humphries farts in Kourtney Kardashian's face, stomps on Kim's toe and uses the term "gay" in footage. "Viewers will be shocked by what a jerk Kris is," a source alleges.
Normally, this rumor alone wouldn't be enough to make this site but an ex-girlfriend of Mr. Humphries by the name of Bianka Kamber has released to the public that Kris liked to pass gas with her:
She said: 'Kris had no flirting skills whatsoever. Flirting to him was like burping and like blowing it in your face or farting and then throwing the covers over your head.

'Literally, as gross as it sounds, that’s how he like broke the ice and that was his flirting. Playful but very immature.'

History Channel's Pawn Stars Might Hire NBA Player

One of my favorite shows on television is History Channel's "Pawn Stars" and it doesn't surprise me one bit that they want to take advantage of this NBA lockout.

Recently, they told TMZ that they might hire an NBA player for the store:
TMZ has learned ..."Pawn Stars" honcho Rick Harrison is adamant that he wants to help a struggling, talented, out-of-work NBA player earn a paycheck during the never-ending lockout.

We're told the job would require the baller to work the counter just like everyone else in the shop. As for salary -- we're told Rick will work out the details depending on who applies for the gig.

Chum Lee -- who also stars on the show -- tells TMZ he's hoping Rick can pull in a Lakers player ... especially Metta World Peace ... but relents, "If there aren't any players who take us up on the offer, I'm hoping some cheerleaders come down for the job!"
I also heard that Delonte West is looking for work as well....

Yao Ming Wine is a Thing, Costs About $600

For all of you waking up from the spoils of Thanksgiving, I'd like to say welcome back to the realm of the living and for the rest of you, I hope your Thanksgiving was a quality one.

In speaking of food and beverages, former Houston Rockets center Yao Ming has entered the world of wine.

Recently, he bought a winery in California and started making wine:

That search has resulted in Yao Ming Wine, which will make its debut this Sunday night at an auction held by Special Olympics East Asia, which organizes sports competitions for the intellectually disabled.

Yao's new Napa Valley wine company, Yao Family Wines, has released its inaugural wine under the name "Yao Ming: a 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon".

It comes in a magnum bottle - meaning it can hold 1.5 liters of wine - costs 3,800 yuan ($596) a pop and is extremely rare. None of the 1,200 bottles in existence will be sold on the open market.

The Philadelphia 76ers Are Riding Themselves Of Their Mascot, "Hip Hop"

Apparently, the Philadelphia 76ers fans didn't take a shine to their bunny rabbit mascot, Hip Hop because on Tuesday it was announced that the bunny wouldn't be returning for the Sixers.

Philadelphia has hired Jim Henson creator shop to create them a new mascot that rivals the tough city that Philadelphia:
"We have proclaimed quite loudly in Philadelphia that we will listen to Sixers fans," said Sixers Chief Executive Officer and co-owner Adam Aron.

"In the 6,500 fan comments and suggestions we received so far there was a tidal wave of commentary suggesting the Sixers needed a new mascot. We have hired an incredibly talented duo in Jim Henson's Creature Shop and the Raymond Entertainment Group to help us develop a new mascot," said Aron.
However in today's day and age, you can't just get rid of the mascot. So, the 76ers decided to produce a press release for the kids to say that Hip Hop has found love!:
In a statement written with younger fans in mind, the team explained that Hip-Hop informed the team's new ownership group that he has fallen in love, married and will relocate to a rural part of Pennsylvania to start a family.

Hip-Hop "will therefore be unable to serve as the 76ers team mascot going forward, and will not again appear at a Sixers game," said the statement.

Metta World Peace Sells Solar Energy And Popsicles...Seriously

As the NBA lockout still continues onward into the next month, Lakers star Metta World Peace AKA Ron Artest had take another job.

So, Metta decided to help Sungevity Solar Energy try to sell their product on the Hollywood strip along with Lakers reserve Devin Ebanks:

When we first heard about the NBA lockout we felt like we needed to do something about it, because while the solar job sector is absolutely booming, other job sectors are stagnant.  We offered an honest day of work to two of our favorite LA Lakers, Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Ron Artest) and Devin Ebanks.

Metta and Devin were a joy to hang out with, and let’s just say that they were a smidge more popular with folks than our usual staff ;-P

As the lockout continues will they be taking up selling solar and slinging GoodPops as a full-time job?  My guess is no since they have to hunch to fit into the truck, but they sure did seem to have fun during their brief stint as SFUNsters (Sungevity employees).
Oh, you want proof that Metta was out there you say...here it is

Shaq Gets Denied Access To Club Due To Casual Dress (Photo)

Usually, Shaquille O'Neal will be able to get into any club regardless of his attire. However, there was a an incident recently at Mars 2112 in New York where he was not allowed in due to what he was wearing.

But according to the club promoter, Mike Mogul, Shaq's attire wasn't up to club standards ... so security politely informed the retired NBA star that he would not be allowed inside.

Sources at the club tell us Shaq calmly replied, "Are you serious?" ... then shrugged his shoulders and walked down the street to another place that welcomed The Diesel with open arms.
